La physique classique est la science qui étudie l’immensité qui nous entoure ; l’infiniment grand.
A contrario, la physique quantique décrit le comportement des objets nanoscopiques, tels que les molécules, les atomes ou les particules ;
l’infiniment petit. L’essence de mon projet est de porter un autre regard sur la physique, lui apporter une dimension ludique et attrayante. Il s’agit d’une interprétation artistique et esthétique d’une sélection de grandes théories fondamentales de physique classique et quantique.

La physique quantique regorge de mystères, d’étrangetés et de paradoxes qui nous obligent à revoir la manière dont nous concevons la matière,
et même la physique de manière générale car elle se joue de nos intuitions. Afin de l’aborder il faut se recréer toute une imagerie métaphorique faisant écho à ces étrangetés quantiques. Ce projet s’articule autour d’un travail photographique et plastique proche de l’abstraction, au cœur

de la matière. Naît alors un projet éditorial sous forme de coffret, contenant deux livrets exposant les mondes de l’infiniment petit et de l’infiniment grand.

Classical physics is the science that studies the immensity that surrounds us ; the infinitely big. On the contrary, quantum physics describes the behavior of nanoscopic objects, such as molecules, atoms or particles; the infinitely small. The essence of my project is to see physics differently, to provide it a playful and attractive dimension. It is an artistic and aesthetic interpretation of a selection of fundamental theories of classical and quantum physics.

 

Quantum physics is full of mysteries, strangenesses and paradoxes which require us to rethink how we conceive the matter, and even physics in a general way because it plays with our intuitions. In order to approach it, it is necessary to recreate a metaphoric imagery echoing these quantum weirdness. This project

is articulated around a photographic and plastic work close to abstraction, at the heart of the matter. Then, comes an editorial project, under the shape of a box containing two booklets outlining the worlds of the infinitely small and the infinitely big.
